Tour Our School

I offer tours if I have openings in my classrooms March to December, view openings on my enrollment page to see if we have an opening for your child.  We enroll for openings year-round.  We maintain a waiting list when classes are full.  The waiting list totals can be found on the Enrollment page. Directions to get on the waiting list are on the Registration page. The children on the waiting list will age up to the next class each fall.

Tour Guidelines:

We do tours during class so you can see the class in action.

The tour is for you, and I want you to get the information you need so you can decide if we are a good fit for your family.

We will start in my office talking about the tuition, schedule, calendar, curriculum, philosophy, and behavior management.  Not all students are able to sit during this time so if they come with you, we may not be able to cover it all.  You can read our Parent Handbook on the Registration Page of our web site and let me know if you have questions. I will try to cover the essential information and answer any questions you have.

Please reschedule if you are ill.

For tours we do a classroom visit.  If students are with you they can check out what is happening , but it is not enough time to engage in play.  I do a lot of tours and not all the students start with us.  Once we know a student is joining us, we do transition visits for an hour once or twice before a child starts with a parent so they can get familiar with the school.

Openings are filled on a first come first serve basis.  You can apply for a position by turning in a Pre-registration form with the Registration fees of $150 per child/$250 max for multiple children.  You can turn in your pre-registration form starting January 1st or after your tour. Forms and fees must be turned in together.  I hold the form and fees until I confirm placement. January, we start tours and enrollment for the summer and fall of that year. (January 2024 for Summer and fall of 2024 start dates).  I will confirm placement for families between March 1st and 15, for the summer or fall start.

***********************************************************************

I start setting up individual appointments in November for open tours in January and February for families looking to pre-register for a summer or fall start. March 1st, we confirm registration for current families that have turned in re-enrollment forms for Summer/Fall.  We place a pause on the waiting lists from January 1 to March 15th. By March 15th we confirm new student enrollment and start waiting lists. After March we know our enrollment for the coming summer and fall. After March 15th I start the waiting list for the coming school year for classes that are full or continue to enroll for classes with openings.

March to December I only offer tours if we have openings in the classrooms to fill.  I will call families on the waiting list so they can tour and decide if they would like to register. We stop offering open tours to limit the disturbances to the classrooms.

When families tour January and February for a summer or fall enrollment, we accept pre-registration with enrollment fees at the time of your tour or January 1st to apply to hold a spot for the coming year.  I date forms as I receive them.  Spots are filled on a first come first serve basis. I will then confirm your enrollment or place your student on the waiting list in March after current families re-enroll in February. I will hold your check until I can confirm a place for your child.

To continue to hold your spot over summer, for a fall start in September, families submit September’s tuition June 1st to secure their student’s spot.

Students starting summer, with a mid-June start date would start paying their tuition month to month on June 1st, Pro-rated for June.

For our youngest group Dewdrops, 1- to 2-year-old class, we can accept and confirm enrollment after your tour until the class is full for Fall and in March for a Summer start date.

We guarantee current families their same schedule for the following year in the next class.  As children move up to the next age group the class size may increase.  This allows current families to add days or new families to join.

Class size: Dewdrops 10 (5:1 ratio), Rainbow 14 (7:1 ratio), Stargazers 20 (10:1 ratio) and Sunshiners 20 (10:1 ratio).

As you can see, if the Preschool, Stargazer class is full and all children continue to the next class, current families will not be able to add days and we will not be able to add new students to our Pre-k, Sunshiner class.  Some years we have many spaces open and new students join us for Pre-K, Sunshiners.  Other years we have had no openings.

If the classes are already full and you would like to be added to the waiting list, please submit the pre-registration form with the $25 waiting list fee.  We place a pause on the waiting lists from January 1 to March 15th. Our Pre-registration form and steps to proceed are found on the registration page. I send out waiting list quarterly and when I have updates about a new change in the list or enrollment.
